Kōbō Abe

Bio: Kimifusa Abe was a Japanese writer, playwright, photographer and inventor who wrote under the pseudonym of Kōbō Abe. His surreal, often nightmarish depictions of the modern condition have led him to often be compared to Franz Kafka.
