Bio: Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov is a Russian diplomat and currently the Foreign Minister of Russia, in office since 2004. Prior to that, Lavrov was a Soviet diplomat and the Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations from 1994 to 2004.
