Bio: Moderata Fonte, pseudonym of Modesta di Pozzo di Forzi, also known as Modesto Pozzo, was a Venetian writer and poet. Besides the posthumously-published dialogue, Il merito delle donne for which she is best known, she wrote a romance and religious poetry.
