Bio: Marie Vieux-Chauvet was a Haitian novelist, poet and playwright. Born and educated in Port-au-Prince, she is most famous works for the novels Fille d'Haïti, La Danse sur le Volcan, Fonds des Nègres, and Amour, Colère, Folie.
