Jessye Norman

Bio: Jessye Mae Norman was an American Grammy award-winning opera singer and recitalist. A dramatic soprano, Norman was associated in particular with the Wagnerian repertoire, and with the roles of Sieglinde, Ariadne, Alceste, and Leonore.
