Hershel Shanks

Born: March 8, 1930
Died: February 5, 2021 (aged 90)
Bio: Hershel Shanks was the American founder of the Biblical Archaeology Society and the editor of the Biblical Archaeology Review. He also wrote and edited numerous works on Biblical archaeology including the Dead Sea Scrolls.
