Died: 1320 (aged 60)
Bio: Henri de Mondeville, a medieval Frenchman, has been claimed as the "Father of French Surgery". There is some doubt about his birthplace, but it was most likely to have been either the village of Mandeville or Émondeville, both in Normandy.
