When David Marr at MIT moved into computer vision, he generated a lot of excitement, but he hit up against the problem of knowledge representation; he had no good representations for knowledge in his vision systems.
Bio: Certified as a Montessori teacher by St. Nicholas Training Centre in London, and active on behalf of the method since 1960, Elizabeth G. Hainstock became a Montessori consultant for the Department of Health, Education and Welfare in 1971.
