Dmitri Volkogonov

Bio: Dmitri Antonovich Volkogonov was a Russian historian and colonel general who was head of the Soviet military's psychological warfare department. After research in secret Soviet archives, he published biographies of Joseph Stalin and Vladimir Lenin, among others.
