Often misattributed to Shashi Tharoor, but this quote has been found in a book from 1955 (The American treasury, 1455-1955 by Charles Lincoln Van Doren, p. 493) and he was born in 1956. This same book attributes it to the American philologist John Duncan Spaeth, but we could not find it in any of his original works either.
