Abu 'Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Nu'man al-'Ukbari al-Baghdadi known as al-Shaykh al-Mufid and Ibn al-Mu'allim was a prominent Twelver Shia theologian. He was the son of Muallim, hence the name Ibn Muallim.
