Bio: Abul Ala Maududi was an Indian-Pakistani scholar, philosopher, jurist, journalist, islamist and imam. His numerous works were written in Urdu, but then translated into English, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Burmese and many other languages.
